CRITICAL NOTICE: ADVERTISING & MATCHING PLATFORM DISCLAIMER Barebones 3D, L.L.C. d/b/a Ridgeline Trade Network is a digital media publisher, advertising network, and information directory. We are NOT a licensed general contractor, specialty trade contractor, or employer of contractors. All trade work is performed strictly by independent, licensed, vetted, and insured contractors.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or utilizing the website ridgelinetrade.com, any of our 19 regional trade publications (including but not limited to wncexcavating.com, wnctreeremoval.com, wncretainingwall.com, and affiliate digital properties), or our digital telephone and inquiry routing facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Property Owner", or "Contractor") and Barebones 3D, L.L.C., a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as Ridgeline Trade Network.

2. Nature of Services — Digital Publishing & Lead Routing

Ridgeline Trade Network operates regional informational web properties, geotechnical educational resources, and automated dispatch routing systems across Western North Carolina. Our platform serves exclusively to:

Provide regional property owners with educational guides regarding mountain site prep, tree care, foundational geology, and specialty trade standards;
Connect consumers with independent third-party trade contractors who lease territorial coverage corridors across Western North Carolina;
Facilitate the intake and digital forwarding of consumer quote inquiries and direct telephone calls.

Under no circumstances shall Barebones 3D, L.L.C. be considered a general contractor, subcontractor, construction manager, or agent of any property owner or contractor.

3. Independent Contractor Relationship & Licensing Disclaimer

All trade specialists, equipment operators, arborists, technicians, and contractors accessible through this network are independent business entities operating under their own trade licenses, worker's compensation, and commercial liability insurance. They are not employees, joint venturers, partners, or agents of Barebones 3D, L.L.C.

While the Ridgeline Trade Network requires leasing contractors to warrant that they possess active North Carolina licensure (where applicable by project scope or North Carolina General Statutes) and maintain commercial general liability insurance, property owners are solely responsible for verifying the current standing of contractor licenses, building permits, and insurance certificates prior to entering into any physical work contract or releasing payment.

4. Quotes, Contracts & Project Warranties

Any cost estimates, quotes, timetables, or service representations displayed on network web pages or provided via phone or email are preliminary estimates only. Formal proposals, scopes of work, and warranties must be agreed upon in a separate written contract executed directly between you and the independent contractor.

Barebones 3D, L.L.C. does not warrant, guarantee, or endorse the quality, safety, legality, structural integrity, or timeliness of any work performed by independent contractors.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY NORTH CAROLINA LAW, BAREBONES 3D, L.L.C., ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

Any physical work, construction, excavation, tree felling, grading, or trade service performed or omitted by any contractor;
Property damage, personal injury, structural collapse, slope failure, soil instability, or utility disruption;
Contract disputes, payment disputes, mechanic's liens, or breach of agreement between property owners and contractors;
Delays, scheduling conflicts, weather disruptions, or permitting rejections.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Ridgeline Trade Network shall be resolved exclusively in the state courts located in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
